Golf course review of Hampton Court Palace Golf Club

Enjoyable course with very good greens that are fairly well protected. Although I thought the Deer roaming around might be an annoying issue, it wasn't (quite the opposite)

Golf course review of Hampton Court Palace Golf Club

Just played a twilight at HC and enjoyed it. The course is open but challenging with pretty thick rough and every green demands a good approach. The greens are excellent and tee boxes in good nick as well. Would be a stunner of a course if there was some water brought into play. One downside is that outside of twilight is pricey..... Will be back on a deal but not fornthe full green fee

Golf course review of Hampton Court Palace Golf Club

I got stuck behind the 8:04 club, some Saturday regulars. The little beardy ginger fella could play a bit but wandered off after 9 holes. The rest of them chuntered and grumbled about the course, the pace of play, the club finances and the price of haddock these days. Glorious surroundings, 5 mins from home but overpriced for a muni and letting Northerners play on Sat morn is almost unheard of elsewhere in Surrey.

Golf course review of Hampton Court Palace Golf Club

Course was lovely on a serene Friday afternoon. Greens still a tad bumpy and fairways pretty dry but wouldn't take much to make this course a stunner. Yes a tad boring up and down fairways but enough of a challenge to keep me interested. Probably wouldn't pay full price for golf here though...

Golf course review of Hampton Court Palace Golf Club

Had very high hopes for this course but certianly wouldn't rush back for a few years. It was very samey, flat and reasonably little to know interest on the course. The views of the palace were wonderful as were the deer everywhere. Either a trip to Hampton Court itself or teh zoo would have been better

Golf course review of Hampton Court Palace Golf Club

Although a little slow, the course is in very good condition so with some searching for a discounted tee time this is worth a trip. It was a bit of a shock to be surrounded by Roe deer on the 1st tee (not the ususal spectators!), but they added to the charm of the place. Some amazing views of the palace were enhanced by an unseasonably warm & sunny October day. Recommended.

Golf course review of Hampton Court Palace Golf Club

the staff were friendly and the facilities were very good. The greens were in VGC for the time of year, however there are much more interesting courses to play and at a third of the price. None of the holes really stood out from any of the others, and the course would benefit from the addition of some water features.

Golf course review of Hampton Court Palace Golf Club

A course I play a lot with a friend who's a member. This course is always in top top condition with the some of the best greens I ever played on. A very flat course and with the deer roaming about a very pleasant walk.

Great course .... takes water very well - bit bland in the winter but an entirely diffrent course in the summer - very tricky with the trees full of leaves1

Golf course review of Hampton Court Palace Golf Club

Overcast with a stiff breeze gave way to sunny spells and fierce gusts, giving some teeth to the course. The layout is a little tight in places with tee boxes and greens squashed together. That said, without such windy conditions, the course would have been excellent- tees and greens in good condition and only above average rough. The food and service at the 19th was very good.

Golf course review of Hampton Court Palace Golf Club

Overpriced unless you get a tee-time or voucher deal..We've had some really good days here and personally think it is a very nice course in a great setting..Very links-like feel in the summer with very punishing rough.

Over priced for a fairly standard uninspired parkland course, pretty straight and not very interesting. Have fun avoiding the deer!

Golf course review of Hampton Court Palace Golf Club

This course is great test for your game, just try to keep the ball in play as the rough is rather tall & plenty of it.

If you have trouble with the golf just admire the scenery the deer in the grounds of the royal palace.

The only down side is that when I visited there was no course planner as the course had been altered recently, as I hadn't played here before it might of been handy in finding my way oh well its only a game

Golf course review of Hampton Court Palace Golf Club

Really enjoyable course. Has a real links feel to it and when the wind blows you better watch that rough because it can kill your score. Nice surroundings, nice clubhouse and course management appears to be of the highest standard. Play to your handicap here and it's job well done.

Golf course review of Hampton Court Palace Golf Club

Very friendly staff who make for a welcoming club. Course has something for everyone, low handicappers need to concentrate on course management. Some of the fairways more forgiving than others. Holes 13 -17 while on open parkland with all the bumps and grinds has a bit of a links feel to it. Views of Hampton Court on a sunny day make it a great course to play.

nice flat course with deer running around, going off line can cost you dearly, the rough is not very forgiving, green are quite good, nice view of Hampton Court House. Downside . No toast with breafast. 6/10.

Golf course review of Hampton Court Palace Golf Club

The recently renovated clubhouse is a great benefit to this beautifully set club situated right in the heart of the Hampton Court Palace grounds. The course itself is kept very nicely, but is very repetitive and even fairly straightforward for us higher handicappers. Watch out for Deer littering the fairways, green and tee boxes - I even saw one sleeping in a bunker!
