Course very soggy, fairways rough, winter tees not well marked or positioned, greens very rough, pro shop being refitted

Testing course with excellent views fairways were in great condition but the same can\'t be said about the tees and greens. Greens on the front 9 were in poor condition back 9 were slightly better but not by much. Tee areas were lacking in grass on the yellows. The set out of the course was great but the condition of greens and tees in General were poor

Potentially an excellent course, but need to get the basics right first! Played it last week in a visiting party and was surprised to see they haven't yet changed the numbers on each tee's following their decision to alter the course layout (hole no.9 was signed as hole no.18). You would have thought this would have been changed on day one. Path's, benches & bunkers were very scruffy. Fairways & greens quite good to be fair. Clubhouse/halfway house looked derelict as we approached it up the new 9th. Like I said, potentially good, but who on earth is running that place???

Great surrounding, and could be a cracking top class municipal if little money spent on greens especially.

Have played this course over 30 times over last 15 years, and i must say lasy year was the best the course as been. However played Mid April and was very disappointed the whole course needs tidying up the green are at best average. If they could get it to the standard of last year than the course is hilly and fairly difficult. However most putts are relatively straight. Needs improvement in the next few months.

Played here in great weather and course was dry and ball waas running. Note a lot of drainage work and greens were quite heavily dressed but in otherwise good condition. I just feel that the overall look of the fairways and all round tidiness of the surrounding areas and water features were not great. Some serious landscaping required and tees need looking at to keep in good condition, a bit tardy in places and not at all flat. This is a great course in waiting for a decent investment - especially with the golf acadamy next door.

very average course, greens arnt the best, however the course is fairly challenging with some nice holes. Potential for this course could be massive if invested and maintained better.

Really love the layout of this course. Some fantastic holes that was well design. Good par 3 a few long par 5 some dog legs hills plenty of bunkers. Really good layout in my opinion each hole feels different. Each time I played though the rough is more like a jungle. Really thick and long so if you miss the fairway which I do often your shot from the rough is unplayable that is if you can find the ball. With a few quid spent of the course it could be improved no end and become as fantastic as the design deserves it to be.
