Great course with tough holes.

In brilliant nick although the bunkers could do with a little TLC, some holes very challenging a few tight fairways to go with aswell

Big course worth visiting

The Grange is a big course with long holes and quite hilly so you need to be relatively fit as it can be tricky being a local its very good value you need to learn the course to improve...

Good course to play

The course is well laid out and has some very interesting holes. There are a few holes which are quite hilly. On the day I played, the greens were a little slow & the fairways were a little long (suggesting that a grass cut was needed throughout the course). Overall, I enjoyed playing this course as did my two other playing partners.

much improved

Played grange park last year and was in a poor state.... played today and this course has much improved, looks like a little more care has been taken in into its upkeep. Some fine tuning, ..,example ....bunkers a little more sand and tidying up,and it would be one of the best and most challenging courses in the area. Well done grange park, and well done to everybody concerned. Will play the course again without hesitation (hopefully better next time) +very nice coffee and homemade shortbread.

Nicely kept course

Varied challenges. Blind shots, lots of trees to avoid and hills to navigate.

Poor Condition

Condition of the course is very poor compared to other courses in the area, especially the greens.

We had a pint and a sandwich after the round and both tasted dreadful.

£22 might be cheap for a round of golf on a Saturday but when its this poor you can see why.

Nice course, quite on the day we played. An undulating course so hired a buggy. Would recommend this course it's a good challenge.

Tricky and quite long

Undulating, twisty and quite long. If you are errant off the tee you will lose balls. Challenging course with decent facilities - not bad value for money

WOW

I do not know where Mark C plays his golf, perhaps it's Augusta in Georgia when you look at his review versus the one less than a week prior it does seem a little out of kilter. I played the course on Saturday the 10th of November and considering the time of year and the difficult weather conditions through the summer both the condition of the greens and the course in general is excellent. At only £22 on a Saturday and Sunday the course offers excellent value for money. I must have been at a different venue or mayebe in a different Universe to Mark C
