Golf course review of Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club

I work here as head chef but will write an unbiased review. As a 26 handicapper im not really in any position to do a great review either but i will say it is a super course for any ability, the 3 sets of 9 make it an ideal course for large groups and societies. Very well maintained, greens are excellent pretty much all year round (obviously there are times in the winter out of the greenkeepers control!)
Very forgiving from the tee if that helps anyone, i can hit long but not nessarily straight and have finished net par or better after only hitting 2 or 3 fairways! I have played other courses where if you miss the fairway its game over.
My favourite holes are 4 and 9 on Foxes Run, 3 and 9 on deer Park and 1, 3, the famous 6th and 7 on Badgers Sett.
Decent practice areas and some stunning scenery make CMGC a great course and i would highly recommend this course to anyone.
The food by the way is first class!! Hehe!

Cracking course with 27 holes over 3 loops of 9 making multiple options when you play, which for us meant 9 in the morning followed by 18 holes after lunch.

Great value for money and a very friendly and relaxed clubhouse and staff. Well worth a visit.

Thoroughly ejoyed this one. Not long by any means, but the 2 loops of nine we played offered up some interesting golf. Fairways and greens in good nick, worth playing just for the 6th on the Badgers Course, one of the prettiest holes I've ever played. Will be going back again without a doubt.

27 holer so many varietys to play, some good technical holes and a great practice area and clubhouse

went on a monday and it was £15 all day golf, bargain!!!

My favourite course anywhere. A real test but without being unplayably hard. 3 fantastic loops of 9, great greens whenever I have been and a very friendly club house serving nice food. I make sure I go back every year at the very least.

A spectacular place with 3 9 hole course which all loop back to the fantastic clubhouse. Each course provides breathtaking views & unique challenges. Excellent practice facilities, changing rooms food. All staff welcome you with open arms & cannot do enough to make your golf day one to remember.
If you play on a Monday all it will cost is £15 for all day!! I don't know anywhere else where you can get this good a value.
Everytime I go back I find something new to to make me want to go back again & again.

Great Course. Very tricky, with lots of water coming into play. We stayed at one of their new, chalets. Very reasonable. The atmosphere and food in the club house were very good.
