Cave Castle Golf Club
Opened in 1989 the course is maturing well and has a good mix of undulating meadow and parkland holes. Trees and water come into play on a number of holes and the large pond in the middle of the 9th hole makes you think carefully with your tee shot. The 13th is a long dogleg par 5 which lulls you into a sense of security however beware the out of bounds on either side or the strategically placed bunkers before you turn for the green. The one special thing about Cave Castle is the peace and quiet – surrounded by farmland the only noise is the wildlife and banter of other players!

This coures cost me and 19 mates £18 which included 18 holes of golf coffee& a brekfast.

Played this course on the afternoon of Friday 10th October 2008. Was given a really friendly welcome. Great value for money as they take the 2Fore1 vouchers making it cheaper than playing on a municipal course at just £10 each. The course was in really good condition and a pleasure to play with some really interesting holes. the 18th being a real corker!. Course facilities were very good. The pro shop was well stocked also. I will definitely be going back.
