Fantastic course, brilliant greens

Although course looked very hilly on outset, proved to be a fantastic course with some of the best greens i have p,ayed. Scenery also amazing on some of the holes at the cliffs

This course is well maintained and challenging in normal conditions and extremely difficult on windy days due to its elevated location, but its definitely worth a try no matter what the weather.

One of my favourites. This course is situated right on the Antrim coast with the par 3 2nd overlooking the Irish Sea towards Scotland. Not for the faint hearted, this course starts with the 1st hole playing very uphill. The 3rd takes you back down then the fourth starts the climb again before heading down the long 5th which starts some more sheltered but no less challenging holes. The rest of the course will test the best and can challenge varying levels of handicap. At the time of writing, this course had some green work done with sand being added and spiked greens. Hopefully when this settles the greens will be back to the standard of old. The food is great and reasonable. There is a well stocked Pro Shop and the prices are reasonable. Overall a good course to play. Weather conditions will make it a different challenge each time.

Fabulous course

Having played Cairndhu many times, I wasn't surprised to see the curse and the greens in pristine condition. Given the summer we have had so far, I was not surprised to see the tees in poor condition, but as the Hosepipe ban was lifted at noon on Tuesday 17, I thought they could have started watering them, lest they lose them completely> Despite displaying a sign on the coast road, that says visitors are welcome to come and get a meal, the kitchen didn't open to 17-00 hrs and we had to take our custom elsewhere!
