Excellent course, except on a bad weather day, very exposed to the elements on the 1st and 4th hole

Rated 4 by Alan G onGolf course review of Cairndhu Golf Club
One of my favourites. This course is situated right on the Antrim coast with the par 3 2nd overlooking the Irish Sea towards Scotland. Not for the faint hearted, this course starts with the 1st hole playing very uphill. The 3rd takes you back down then the fourth starts the climb again before heading down the long 5th which starts some more sheltered but no less challenging holes. The rest of the course will test the best and can challenge varying levels of handicap. At the time of writing, this course had some green work done with sand being added and spiked greens. Hopefully when this settles the greens will be back to the standard of old. The food is great and reasonable. There is a well stocked Pro Shop and the prices are reasonable. Overall a good course to play. Weather conditions will make it a different challenge each time.
