The Burstead Golf Club was designed by the late Patrick Tallack in September 1991. It was laid to seed in the spring of '92 and opened for play in July 1993. Although relatively new, the course already shows maturity beyond its years, with the greens in particular establishing an excellent reputation.Book a Tee Time

My partners and I play at Burstead 3 or 4 times a month through the whole year.It is by far the best condition course and clubhouse facilities in south essex.

Played for the first time today, have been looking to join a club for a while in Essex....Course played very well, club shop very approachable, membership options avaliable, what can i say apart from im joining this week and have t time booked for next weekend....will certainly be bringing guests to the cousre in future, one of the best cousres in the Essex area!

Had a fantastic day at this friendly club. Greens are true and very well kept. While short, a lot of low 300 par 4s, what I really enjoyed was the fact that the course wasn't driver, driver, driver. With ditches and streams at driving length it required some lay ups off the tee which meant longer irons into the greens. Will be back very soon, maybe even this weekend!

Greens were immaculate. Ball stopped nicely considering how dry it's been recently. Bit pricy at £30 a round but they take 2-4-1 vouchers which makes it better. All holes appeared very well looked after and there were plenty of green keepers about working on it.
