Played here in July and the greens were shockingly bad. The course layout is good with some quality holes, there's a cracking par 3 when if the wind is blowing like it was when I played is a beaut. The greens tho is what lets this place down, pace inconsistent with holes, divets and chunks in them. Get the greens sorted and this course would be a cracker.

Course has improved a lot over the years. The greens used to really let it down but are now some of the best around. Views are amazing and overall excellent value for money. Highly recommend

Played this course in September 2014. Weather was dry but slightly misty, so views were not as spectacular as described in other reviews. Received an exceptionall y warm and courteous welcome from the club professional. Thoroughly enjoyed the round, especially the par 3 8th over the gully and the par 5 10th, which snakes up through the hills to the green. Takes around 45 minutes to get there from the main routes, but well worth the effort.

Fantastic links course with views to die for across the Irish sea. Worth the trip to play the exciting 3rd hole which is played across from cliff top to cliff top. This course changes as quickly as the weather and is not for the faint- hearted. Recommend hiring a buggy!!

Sort greens out!!

Played Brighouse recently for a fantastic price, the course itself is superb - wonderful views of the sea and surrounding bays, and the holes themselves give such a good variety with some being very difficult due to not knowing where you're going!

A beautiful & challenging course, but rewarding

A warm & welcoming course.
It is set overlooking the Irish sea with views to the Ise of Mann, many of the holes are cliff top offering all around views of the sea and Galloway Hills.
It is both challenging and rewarding in equal measure, some lovely short par 3 holes and some demanding par 5 ones too (esp hole 10)
Jim the pro is very welcoming and eager to help, all the facilities you would expect are there and more besides
Much recommended

A Fantastic Course in a wonderful location

We had the most brilliant day at Brighouse Bay Golf Club. The course was in excellent condition, the greens were tricky but true and the views all around the course were stunning. You are on the cliff top all day. Deers run free and we saw Herons and Skylarks too. A day to remember! All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Many thanks to Jimmy for all his tips about the course before we teed off!
