Boston Golf Club
Founded in 1900, the Club moved to its present location at Cowbridge in 1962. Located at the cross-over of two water courses, the Boston Golf Club provides a parkland oasis amongst the fertile Lincolnshire Fens. By definition water comes into play at a number of holes and the course provides a challenge to both the beginner and more experienced golfer alike. In addition to the challenging 18 hole course, a covered four bay driving range and practice facilities are available for visitors to use, along with a practice bunker and putting green. Location
Location: From Grantham Come into Boston on A52 taking sign posts for Grimsby (A16). On roundabout at end of urban dual carriageway take middle lane onto roundabout. Take second exit off roundabout for Horncastle (B1183) - Signposted Boston Golf Club. Proceed for 2.5 miles with drain on right hand side. You will cross a bridge over the drain, immediately turn right into Boston Golf Club From Grimsby Come into Boston on A16. At first main roundabout in the centre of town take B1183 sign posted Horncastle (third exit off roundabout). Proceed for 2.5 miles with drain on your right hand side. You will cross a bridge over the drain, immediately turn right into Boston Golf Club. From Kings Lynn (A17) & Spalding (A16) At roundabout at Algarkirk take A16 to Boston. On entering Boston pickup sign posts for Grimsby (A16). On roundabout at end of urban dual carriageway take middle lane onto roundabout. Take second exit off roundabout for Horncastle (B1183). Proceed for 2.5 miles with drain on right hand side. You will cross a bridge over the drain, immediately turn right into Boston Golf Club. From Sleaford At Swineshead Bridge turn left off A17 onto B1121 sign posted Boston. On approaching Boston take the signs for A16 Grimsby. On roundabout at end of urban dual carriageway take middle lane onto roundabout. Take second exit off roundabout for Horncastle (B1183). Proceed for 2.5 miles with drain on right hand side. You will cross a bridge over the drain, immediately turn right into Boston Golf Club.

A course full of surprises, from the seemingly reachable greens in regulation to the tight fairways (with a stiff wind blowing on the day of play) made for a very testing round.
Well manicured receptive greens with great roll, tight fairways, mature trees all added to a very enjoyable course. Good mixture of length & position holes. A definate to play again on a day with a lot less wind would reflect a very true reflection of hadicap.
