What the club says: This charming and challenging 9 hole, Par 31 course is nestling in Hove between Hangleton Rd and the Downs.

Formerly part of the West Hove Golf Course Benfield offers very establishes fairways and woodland, some of the fairways being over 100 years old!

this course is absolutely awful, the greens and fairways are poorly maintained and there is only 1 out of 9 holes that would be accepted in any other reasonable golf club, not impressed

Charming 9 hole course, no annual fees, helpful golf pro and relaxed course.... Very enjoyable and the second round is half price!

Returning to golf after an 8 year gap this is quite a forgiving course to play on. It is only a 9 hole course and could do with a couple more longer holes but the Fairways and Greens are well maintained and the rough and bunkers not impossible to get out of. If you want to play a second round the greenfees are halved.

Nice downland course with some challenging greens, but virtually no facilities on-site.
