Not a bad course although the weather was foul which didn't help! An old favourite of mine from my teenage years so I am a little biased!

Fantastic value with interesting holes. Greens very slow & some a bit patchy but generally in good condition. No club house as such just municiple style changing rooms. Excellent starting place for new golfers & plenty to test experienced golfers.

Greens in lovely condition today, obviously benefitted from the rain this week. I think this course is excellent for a municipal and the price for being over 50 (age not handicap....) a remarkable £10.90. Fantastic value.

I played here last July, it was very very wet with water in the holes. The course itself is fairly interesting especially for a public pay and play with a good selection of holes, change in elevation, tilted fairways and some long holes.
worth a visit if not waterlogged.

I think this is a great layout for a municipal but the condition does let it down. Reasonable value for money too.

Not a particularly well maintained course but it has a few interesting holes on it that pose a challange to a mid to high level handicapper.
There is a discount on this course if you are a local resident so look out for that. You can also purchase a block of gren fees at 50% of the standard fee that you can use monday-friday.
There is no clubhouse as it is part of a lesiure center complex. There is access to changing room facilities, showers, toilets, vending machines and a small coffee bar. They have a limited range of golfing related items such as tees and practice balls.
Overall, its not a bad place to play for the money it charges and it will be tricky enough for a mid to high level handicapper.

Condition of the course is poor. Tee boxes are like football pitches and greens are not consistent

Public course. Pretty scrappy condition and an eye wateringly dull back nine.

over 50's 7 day membership is only £330 !!. course is in very good condition this year...greens are better than a lot in the area. Why dont courses warn you their greens are like 16 year olds with acne? weel worth a visit.

potentially a very good course but sometimes it looks like the mowers have broken as they let the grass grow to long on the tee's the green's and the fairways.

Quite a nice course for the money with some interesting holes.
However, I cannot but feel that as this is a Tennis first place and so the golf course does not seem to fit in with the business. I think that it needs more attentive management to repair the traffic damage and in particular to get the grass cut. For our viist the greens had not been cut that day (perhaps even not the day before) and so it had that feeling of a seaside pitch & putt place. Pity really as so many things are good.
The facilities that you would expect of a golf course (like a bar) simply do not exist.

The course has a mix of holes, a few memorable ones but lacks some definition / scheme for the course as a whole

A fantastic public course, well maintained greens and a variety of undulating terrain flanked by trees on some holes. Back 9 different from the front to provide an exciting game. Well recomended. Clubhouse non existant if you like your 19th hole.
