Known as “the Jewel of the East” to its members and frequent visitors, the Lake Club is well situated on the boarder of Benoni and Boksburg and easily accessible off the N12 highway. The distinctive A- framed Clubhouse built by its members is a familiar sight to travellers on their way to the big lights of Johannesburg or off to the serenity of the Kruger Park.
Steeped in History the Lake Club started out as a 6 hole golf course in early 1950’s and was formally opened in 1952 as a full 18 hole golf course with tree-lined Fairways and beautifully conditioned Greens. Today this park-like facility continues to fairly test the best golfers while ensuring sporting enjoyment for all who take on her challenges.
