PLayed both courses while on holiday in October 2010.
Had played the previous year and we couldnt wait to get back.
Courses (Panther Lake and Crooked Cat) were both in excellent condition.
They were gearing up for hosting the PGA Q-School finals so the Cat was slightly overgrown in places, but nothing too bad.
ONe thing i love about this course is that the Bermuda grass is more like our own grass in UK. Sometimes it grows and is solid and is impossible to get a ball out the rough, this stuff was soft wispy and just a dream.
STaff are all very friendly, and they are good with the cold towels and frozen juice cups on the really hot days :-)
Couldnt find any discounts anywhere but we averaged about $55/$60 dollars a game. Includes range balls and OCN probably has one of the best range areas ive seen.
Dont debate it - just go - i promise you will love it!!!

Excellent Facility. We played the Crooked Cat course the day after the Q-School finished and we were provided with a course in tip-top condition. It was a little slow in places but nothing drastic. The pro shop is the No.1.Everyone is friendly and helpful.

I played Panther Lakes at the beginning of May with my son-in-law & brother-in -law, our tee time was 14:45 and arrived at 13:15 with plenty of time to check out the excellent shop and after loading up the carts, (equipped with ice-box with free water and towels, and GPS of course) we headed for the range which is just amazing , no tokens, as many balls as you want, you are called when you are needed at the tee, with plenty of time to traverse the cart paths to meet friendly starters. We started on the 10th, (not a good omen) but were assured it would not clog, WRONG, at the 3rd we were 3rd in the queue after 12 holes in 3 and a quarter hours. So, we sadly called it a day. Back at the Pro- shop they were very apologetic, refunded nine holes and offered a free beer in the bar. It did spoil the enjoyment of an excellent course. They suggest that when booking, check on how busy they are. Don't let this review put you off.!!!

I can only agree with everything Chris says, my son-in law and I played Crooked Cat in March 2007 and WOW, we can't wait to get back next year to visit again, friendly, good value, great golf.

If you're in the Orlando area, I strongly recommend playing here. Part of the USPGA qualifying tour, this course is fantastic. I played Disney's Magnolia (home of the Funai Classic) the following week and though that this was better.
Greens are smooth and hard to read, layout is interesting with no two holes the same. It goes without saying that tyhe course was in fantastic condition. Open range firing off the grass and a great club house.
Worth checking with your hotel if they do deals as I got 40% off, a free hat and a free glove by booking through mine. If I go back to Florida, I will make a point of playing here again.
