Walt Disney World Resort
Magic Kingdom / Disney Village, Lake Buena Vista, Florida, 32830-1000 United States
Disney's Magnolia Golf Course features wide fairways dotted with 97 bunkers. It represents a paradise for serious golfers, as well as a thrilling challenge for players at all levels. Step onto the first tee and into the shoes of champions. You'll find yourself powering your way down sweeping fairways at this, the home to the final rounds of the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic.
Disney's Palm Golf Course with elevated greens, 9 water holes, 94 bunkers plus a fair sprinkling of water and woods make this course distinctive. As you play, you may encounter deer and other wildlife. The course provides plenty of challenges for novice players and seasoned pros alike.
The Disney's Osprey Ridge's sweeping 18-hole course is arguably one of the most tranquil locales in all of Walt Disney World Resort. It boasts 7,101 yards from the longest tees for a par of 72—making it suitable for serious and recreational golfers who seek a challenge.
Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course is one of the few courses that have hosted PGA Tour, LPGA Tour and USGA events. The course most notably features elevated bunkered greens that put a premium on accurate approach shots. You can also test your skills and fortitude at the demanding 7th hole with its inviting island green.
Disney's Oak Trail is a 2,913 yard, 9-hole, par 36 course where you will enjoy undulating greens and test your skill with holes ranging from 132 to 517 yards from the back tees. There are plenty of exciting challenges, including holes 5, 6 and 7—routed around a deep canal and a picturesque pond. The course proves fun for everyone, from developing golfers to experienced players.Book a Tee Time

Recently played both the Palm and Magnolia courses at Walt Disny World in Florida, and what a fantastic experience, both courses were being set up for the US PGA championships so we had the stands surrounding the greens etc. But from the moment we arrived nothing was to much trouble, the carts were equiped with GPs+ video`s of the hole, and the contures of the greens, didnt help much though as the greens were rapid! And I shall not gumble ever again when the commentator say about the rough, it was only 2inches deep but the ball just dissappeared, each hole also had a plaque telling you which professional had done something special on that hole, so it was a challenge in trying to beat them. So all in all 2 great courses and at £50 a round great value.

Played 3 out the 4 courses onsite at Disney, there is Magnolia, Palm, Lake Buena Vista and Osprey Ridge (which was closed when we were there)
Enjoyed all three of them. Magnolia tends to be the busiest (this is one the pros play the Childrens Miracle Network CLassic on). Is the longest, and has the Mickey Mouse bunker.
We really enjoyed Lake Buena Vista course as well, was more typical of FLorida course (being that it wound its way round Key West housing) but i think it tends to be bit quieter. We played at 3.06pm and felt like we were the only people on the course.
Courses are expensive (even if staying on site) We tried to play at twilight (after 3pm) this works fine unless you get stuck behind a load of 4 balls! Our last game on Palm, we finished at 6.45pm (mid October and light was fading fast)
CAnt recommend the courses, service and facilities enough. We booked our tee times via Golfnow.com, $39 dollars twilight plus a 10% booking fee to the site. Disney site price is $59.
GPS buggies are great, lots of free tees, pencils, ball markers - all logo'd up :-)

Finally managed to get in a round after 2 days of storms.
Very wide open course, and dispite the heavy rain from the previous 2 days, it had drained very well. Was playing about 300 yards longer due to the rain.
A number of holes offer a surprising challange, with driving and approaching to the correct places key to a good score.
Would highly recommend it.

Home of the Funai Classic and one of the six or so courses around Disney. Standing on the Championship tees, you realise just how good the pros are. Off the yellows, it's a much more playable course that gives a good challenge to all levels. Well postioned water and bunkers (including one shaped like Mickey Mouse's head!) make you need to think your way round.
Fairways like the average British green and a first cut like the average British fairway makes the course great to play on. Greens are like lightening with such subtle breaks the ball seems to have a mind of its own.
Green fees of $150 are high, but book to tee off after 3:00pm for 70% off.

The Best of the disney courses.
Outstanding course in fantastic condition, played from the white tee's it measures 6642yards.
A long opening par 4 of 410 yards, the tee shot made more difficult due to the amount of spectators (golfers waiting there slot).
Stand out holes:- 6th 175yard par 3, guarded by three bunkers the front middle one shaded as mickys head. the 14th is a dogleg right par 5 523yards with four bunkers waiting if your not long enough in taken on the dogleg.
highly recommended course to play in florida.
cost in May $109 (£55 approx) again gets pricey in the winter months.

Disney Lake Buena Vista course.
Excellent course in fantastic condition, as with all the disney courses can be pricey at certain times of the year, mainly the winter cooler months $149 (approx £80) drops to $99 for a day visitor from May - september.
Not overly long at 6264 yards from the white tee's and a nice 489 yard par 5 to get you off and running thought beware the lake on the left which is in range off the tee.
The 7th is a great short par 3 of 117 yards.....to an island green.

This is 1 of the 2 premier courses at Walt Disney World (The other being the Palm) . These are both designed by Joe Lee. We played here during a recent trip to Orlando for a conference and it was my 1st proper 18 hole round of golf. The heat in June is almost unbearable and I was suffering by the last few holes. For Florida golf it is expensive but the landscaping is good and the fairways & rough are playable with less water hazards than a lot of other courses. The Greens were not very flat and had just been sanded which did not help.
