Played this excellent course at the weekend.
For all the usage over the year the fairways and greens were in very good condition.
This course is a typical links with punishing rough and the chance to beat the course by cutting corners, if you hit the correct lines the rewards can be great.
Typical bunkers to catch the wary and reward the adventurers.
I enjoyed playing this course even with the express trains rushing past, its peaceful and the views are panoramic.
Will go back as 2 rounds are not enough to appreciate the splendor and guiles of the layout.

Another very good course on the Northumberland coast. Goswick is not a dramatic course but it's tight fairways and well designed holes make it a stern test. Lots of typical Links rough but for the most part it's a fair punishment for wayward shots rather than being too punative. The greens were fast and a delight to putt on. Overall a difficult but very enjoyable course to play in a lovely and peaceful location.
