Whilst not long at just over 5,600 yards off the back markers, the course is a demanding par 68.
The course is lined by gorse, heather, whinstone and rare fauna and has a unique series of opening holes with back to back par 3s followed by two excellent par 5s. While not the longest course, amounting to just over 5,600 yards, it is a demanding par 68 although there are birdie opportunities especially on the way home with three par 4s under 300 yards for you to savour. Great course and the views are simply stunning but thewind was brutal club selection was nearly impossible, i'm a half decent single figure handicapper and i hit a six iron to a hole measuring 126 yards (8th) !!!!!!

Beautiful course,well kept greens and tees.Blind spots a bit tricky if you are not familiar with the course.Love to come back again and again!

Great Course with some of the best views you will get on any course certainly in the Uk.
Some may find it a bit short and some of the blind shots may not be to everyone's tastes.

the course is very hilly but nice the members made guests feel very unwelcome finished our round and got straight off,course excellent members poor

Extremely busy course with all tee times booked throughout the day on our visit. Too many blind greens for a first visit to enjoy the golf too much, Though the views were excellent

Bamburgh is a very enjoyable links course. The greens were in excellent condition, although the fairways suffer from rabbit holes in some places ( I should know i lost what looked a potentially great looking second shot down one as it 'bounced' towards the green) The course's aspect is fantastic with some great views of yachts and windsurfers in Budle Bay at the far end of the course. Clubhouse was good and very welcoming. Only down side is the cost. It's relatively pricey compared to Seahouses and Dunstanburgh etc
