This is the worst golf course I've played. No exceptions.

I have played this 9 hole course a few times over the years and although I agree with some of the other reviews the course has come on tremendously over the last 12 months. Yes it is a new course, but it is challenging yet forgiving for those of us with a mid to high handicap (im 23). The greens are a little slow and hard to hold if you hit shots into them, palying the ball short and letting it run on is the way forward! Dont forget to check the local rules as most of the banks lining the fairways are pick and place! Finally the restaurant is good, staff very welcoming, ive heard the Sunday Carvery is excellant, I go for the Bacon Sandwich and a coffee for £2.50 which starts my round off perfectly! Its not St Andrews but its well worth a visit if you want a trouble free round of golf!

Needs a lot of TCL as a very tired course also ruined by mindless morons doing donuts either on golf carts or quad bikes which have ripped at least 3 fairways to pieces! More work to be done on tee boxes and greens again tired!

The reviews that have been written in my opinion are a bit harsh. They have described it well although the course is very new and is only a few years old, therefore you should take this into account and there are on going ground-works and the trees are more like bushes.

With time the course will become harder but it is a great course to give you confidence in your game, yes its slightly misleading but the hardest thing as a golfer is to maintain a positive attitude towards your game.

Plus it is fairly priced compared with other Cambridge courses.

Looks like a building site.
Ground is terrible.
Driving range is worse.
DO NOT BUY GUINNESS from the bar.
All in all not a plesent experiance.

A lot of ground work underway around the greens and tees. The fairways are very thin and the whole course felt cramped.
There was very little consistency in the green maintainence. We found the greens near the club house have been over watered and are very thick and mossey whereas tyhe greens at the back of the course where dry and rock solid.

The club house has a thai resturant and a very small club shop. The bar staff are welcoming and during the summer there is a nice place to have a cold beer outside looking onto the ninth hole green.

Overall experience was poor, I would not go back here in a hurry but with all the maintainence underway I will definately try the course in the 2011 season.

Ok for knocking a ball around, but very hard ground means you need to under club.

This used to be a field (for pigs) once upon a time.. a very flat field. As a result the course is flat and featureless. However, it's offers some nice long holes and once the works are complete it will rival the course at Hemingford Abbots.

There is an excellent restaurant at the club house that serves some mouth watering Thai dishes in a relaxing environment. There is still a lot of work to be done in finishing the course grounds (including crazy golf and a putting green) but once in place Milton Park will serve to be one of the best 9 holes in Cambridgeshire.
