I have now played this course twice in the last couple of years. It has some interesting holes and some not so and also quite a bit of walking between some holes.
It is not a difficult course with some forgiving holes.
Worth a visit if in the area but do not go out of your way to play it.

Pleasant but not very challenging course with no serious trouble anywhere. Worth a detour, but wouldn’t recommend you plan your holiday to much around regularly playing this course.
When I played this in the summer of 2009 I shot net 8 under par. Regrettably I think this was more a function of the easiness of the course rather than a flash of brilliance from me.
Located on the edge of the large Quetigny retail park, so not obvious that it is there at all (not far from the MacDonald’s when looking for landmarks). The Longvic airfield is close by so the noise from fast fighter jets low overhead often intrudes. Opened approx late 80’s and has matured well, but most trees still small. One main lake that only really comes into play on the 4th, plus a couple of smaller water hazards elsewhere. The bunkers are well sited and the greens slope viciously into them, so they are perhaps the only real difficulty the course presents.
Well watered at time of visit and very green despite the hot dry spell. Some greens overwatered and spongy leading to plugged balls in the fringe a couple of times.
Predominance of par 4’s of about the same length (300m i.e. 330yds) can get a bit boring.
A fair bit of walking between some greens to tees especially 9th to 10th.
Although the distances are all in meters, the distance markers are placed at 135m i.e. 150yds, which helps.
Over recent years the 18th has been “temporarily” shortened into a boring 150yd par 3 rather than the tricky narrow par 5 with the lake down the left side that it is supposed to be. This is a shame and it is a bit of a let down, however it was understood at the time of visiting (early Aug 09) that the hole was to revert to its intended length later that month.
Has probably the most extensive (too big at the expense of course length perhaps) practice area that I have ever seen. Arranged in a circle with practice putting & chipping greens around the perimeter, as well as 3 short practice pitch & putt holes. The driving area is arranged in a large crescent either side of the clubhouse.
Round was not cheap by UK standards, but probably about average for France.
