Pleasant Suprise

Very friendly club that made a real effort for our society - Northwood Golf Society - COURSE WAS EXCELLENT AS WAS FOOD.

Interesting course with excellent facilities

A most enjoyable weekend. Our second such visit.
Good value for money with a package which included a night at the nearby Lion Quays Hotel.
All the club staff were friendly and helpful. Catering and bar facilities excellent.
The course is challenging although quite a bit of walking over the last few holes for older golfers. Reasonably priced buggies are available though.
Will return.

Cracking Course!!!!!

Beautifully contoured course. Some internal out of bounds to keep an eye out for but has wide open fairways so not really a problem. Tee shots over water. Greens were great. Some cool risk and reward hole to have a go at. An absolute pleasure to play. The staff in the bar were great too. What a lovely place to play. We got a "Hot Deal" online so it was amazingly cheap. Course was almost empty! Monday afternoon !!!

Brilliantly Laid Out Golf Course

Society Day. Brilliantly Laid Out Golf Course. The course layout is well thought out using the natural aged trees to create some tactical holes instead of just tee up and whack it. I prefer these type of golf courses as you have to think your way around. If you can hit straight you'll always have a chance as presicion is the key. The greens give a true roll and are in excellent condition. The staff and food were amazing too.
