Worlebury Golf ClubSituated on Worlebury hill, it lies between the M5 junction 21 (2 miles away) and the seaside town of Weston super Mare. Its location affords stunning views overlooking the Severn Estuary, Wales and The Mendips. At the far end of the course is the old Observatory which was converted from a Windmill in the 1870's. The course was one of a number designed by Harry Vardon (winner of 7 major championships) and his brother Alfred, who was the club professional for 16 years.

Interesting course which meanders somewhat with one or two quite lengthy walks between green and tees as a result. Nonetheless, worthy of a visit and given the number of good courses in this corner of North Somerset makes this area a surprising recommendation for a golfing trip, take, Worlebury in alongside Clevedon, Weston s Mare and the areas "jewel" Burnham & Berrow and you truly will have a golfing trip to remember.
