One of my favourite courses. Has enough variety to keep you on your toes. Well kept fairways and greens.

9 hole course that is in good condition with good greens. Very flat and not particularly interesting but ok for a quick knock.
Green fees too expensive and membership fees are ridiculous.

A nice private course to play, flat but with good fairways and greens. Obstacles are in play on many of the holes, especially water hazards. A little bit expensive for this type of course, but suitable for all handicaps. Good facilities, including a driving range, putting green and a 19th hole.

Very well maintained medium to long course and very forgiving as it has very wide open fairways. challenges come in the form of water and bunkers and most holes are straight and flat.

Parkland 9 hole course (diferent tee yardage should you play 18 holes), set in nice surrounds.
Forgiving and ideal for either a quick nine holes or extended 18The Course

Played a few '9 Hole' rounds.
As a beginner the Course is excellent for learning the game, the Greens are a little fast which doesn't help but the Fairways are wide and accomadating and the Traps well placed.
The 9th/18th is an absolute nightmare par 4, especially for a begginner, as you have to be able to bring the ball back around the trees (or hit and hope over the trees) to have any chance of knocking the second shot up to the green. That hole aside tho the other holes are testing enough for the more experienced golfer, and have enough give to ensure even beginners can have an enjoyable round.
The Bar is reasonably priced, with a nice selection of food, and the Driving range is excellent. The Course

Very flat course not very testing needs a few more hazards.
Not keen on courses that play the second nine holes from different tees from the first nine holes. The Course

I personally think this course is a must for any begginer as it as great easy and wide fairways.
The greens are very well kept too.The course only as nine holes but the way theve situated a round of 18 is good.

since the beginning of summer 07 the fairways have become a lot better looked after and the greens are now challenging. newly installed electric driving range also makes the all round facilities better. as a junior member weekend 18 holes is £8.20, weekday being £7.80. maybe it could be less but im prepared to pay now on the much improved course.

Played this last week. £17.50 for two 9 holes. Have to say i wasn't impressed at all! (Although we didn't use club house or driving range) Imagine a football pitch at this time of year, it'd be tired and patchy... Well thats their fairways! The greens weren't much better either! Not good.
