Played today, very welcoming. Course is a gem, beautiful. Meal afterwards was fantastic. Hoping to go back next in a couple of weeks for team event. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Brilliant!!!

We have been travelling to the Woll for the best part of 15 years now and always experience a great reception. Looking forward to our return in August this year as Nicholas and the team have been developing some of the holes.

Visited Woll Golf Course for a game with friends last week! Great welcome and blessed with good weather as well.
It is early in the year but the course was getting into shape for the season and we really enjoyed ourselves. What really surprised us was the reconstruction work which had taken place to 6 holes which had had problem greens last year. New bunkers and brand new USPGA spec greens looked amazing and apparently will be opened in May 2014.
All of us agreed that it was a great place to come to and we are going to return in a few weeks to try our skills on the newly reconstructed holes!

Its a holiday we book every year, 5 days of golf and accomodation for an amazing price, well worth a look, excellent course and quiet surroundings

Loved this course and the members.
Woll Golf course was a first time visit for myself and my brother. We would definitely go back once we are in that area again. A great course with some great holes.(Round played: May 2021 - Score: 94 Handicap: 15.6)

Lovely valley setting
I played early morning as a guest with one of the members, after a very wet week's weather: taking all that into consideration, the course was in good condition. there were only one or two places where you needed any relief for what might be called "standing water" where the ground was just a little soggy. The greens were in good order and consistent in their speed, however, the old part of the course has put in new greens (12-18) a few years ago and I found quite a difference in the texture and speed of these greens, compared to the others (1-11): that's not a complaint, just something to be aware of if you are playing the course for the first time - I three putted two of the newer greens, because of misjudging their speed - having putted reasonably well in the front nine!!The clubhouse and facilities are first class, the welcome is very warm and friendly and the standard of catering is very high, I would highly recommend this course for an outing, especially.

Super course
Nice course and nice setup suiting golfers of all abilities. Facilities are great and we had a great friendly welcome. The course is well maintained with nice greens and well worth a visit.(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 89 Handicap: 7.9)

A great course in a lovely setting
This was my first visit here and I will definitely be returning. It's a good test of golf for a 25+ handicapper. the greens were in great condition given all the very dry/hot weather. The clubhouse is lovely serving good quality food .Well recommenedReviewer Rating

Hidden Gem
