Just played the Kintyre course for the second time and it's excellent. Shots to think about, excellent greens, and fantastic views. Highly recommended.

the best course in scotland,blows st andies out the water...an experience you'll never forget.......but you'd do well not to forget it with the outrageous green fees being charged. once in a lifetime stuff

Stunning course. You feel the history of the place when you arrive and go into the clubhouse. The course itself was in fantastic condition despite the time of year. The greens were great fun with all the contours and tough pin positions. If you ever get the chance to play here, make sure you do. You will regret it if you dont.

This is an honour to play, the history surrounding this course with the Duel in the Sun of 1977 is all around the club. Fantastic day and fantastic round of golf in great company, well worth a visit to this one.

Qualifying for the peoples open is my greatest golfing achievement so far, and the course did not dissapoint. The club house, staff, members locker room and warm up failities were all brilliant, but the course was something else. I have never had nerves on the 1st tee like like before but the place brings out the best in you. The holes require alot of thinking and stategic planning, each one offers a different challenge, the greens are perfect and the bunkers hellish, especially the stupidly large one on 6. I hope I get a chance to play the course again, me and the 16th have unfinished business.

If I had one last round to play before I died, I would choose Turnberry - everyone has their favourites, but for me it's quite simply the best course in the world

This place is awesome. 2 excellent courses,. The Ailsa is in my top 3 of all time. A great golf course! One of the best breakfasts I have had with one of the best views you can have!

Without doubt my favourite golf resort in the world. If you love golf you simply have to go to Turnberry and play the Alisa Course, it is another level.

Just wanted to point out the Green Fees are £80 from November to March (non resident in hotel).
Also the clubhouse is what a lot of clubs across the country should be - sociable.
No need for a jacket and tie - in fact Golf shoes can be worn up to the restaurant and bar. Prices for food/drink are about the same as your average gastro pub in Chiswick.
