most serious golfers wont look at a short 9 holer, and in this case its definitely their loss. All very neat and tidy, pro shop and public café, excellent range and practise facilities. Course is very well defined and mature. despite the overall length, 2,5 and 9 are good par 4's, 7 a very nice par 3 with water in play. Weakest hole the 4th, be much better if they could tuck the green back in the trees somewhere. Tees and fairways were very good and greens genuinely excellent. Over 8.5 on my stimp, lush and receptive. Every bit as good as most championship courses I have played last few years.
Two minor niggles, no dress code enforced, which isn't to everyones taste. And is also a victim of its success with the modern curse of senior 4balls clogging the course up on a midweek morning. People will come here when they only have a spare hour or two so slow play is especially frustrating. Would benefit from banning 4balls altogether, or heavily restrict the times they are allowed to play.
Overall though its excellently setup and deserves a much higher ranking on here

The best nine hole course around with the most cared for greens in Lincolnshire. Gets busy so better to play four balls over ones or twos.

Very good venue but being a nine hole gets very congested at times.

Whilst a short course don't let it fool you. Tight holes with poor drives been punished. You have to pick your landing spots. Greens are just superb considering this is a pay and play golf course they have greens that are smooth to put on and wouldn't look out of place at a top 100 course. Clubhouse is small but very friendly.

Great course with only 9 tees but 2 flags for each hole yellow first nine and red back nine, some are on shared greens and others on two seperate greens. Great value for money at £12 during the week and £15 at weekends for visitors for the whole day, members pay only a small membership fee and only £4 per day to play all day. Greens are in excellent condition and is a very friendly place to play golf.

This is my regular course and is unbeatable value for money. It might not be the longest but you need to be accurate or your in the trees. It is quite popular and there can sometimes be a longish wait to tee off and another wait to start the 2nd 9 as its only a 9 hole course with 2 sets of flags.
