Course in good condition, fairways nice, tees alittle long, needed a cut, greens ran true despite being top dressed and holotined. Enjoyed the round, short course but straight shots a must. Toughest hole in my opinion was the 18th, long par 3 and requires a straight tee shot into a small green. Would recommend and play again. Pro very helpful and overall course was very pleasant to play - score - 75 - Handicap N/A

A challenging course made harder by a strong wind. Every hole is really interesting and the greens are really difficult, lots of slopes. Great course to play though

Difficult to find but well worth the search, sat nav sends you to wrong area. Lovely course well tended, fairways and next tee a bit tight in places. Good condition and some tough tests

Played this course late February, still on mats for tees and a few holes on temporary greens as was still quite wet. Some good holes and definatly worth a visit. Greens overall in good condition. The back nine being the more testing and enjoyable. Friendly staff. Would return again in the summer.

Society golf day
We came here on Sunday 28th May from Puckersley Pigs golf society and we loved it. Mark the Professional give us a warm reception and was very helpful .The bar staff provided us with a lovely bacon sandwich and coffee before we played one of the best scenic and looked after courses we have played on.Every hole gave a different challenge to all level of handicaps.It is not a flat course but not a hard one to get round either. Afterwards it is a must to try the best Sunday carvery we have had anywhere. Hot and Fresh and plentiful.Thanks to all at Stamford for a great day. Yes we will definitely be back .

Hidden Gem
What a course, no 2 holes the saw and fantastic scenery all the way round, you could have been anywhere. Will happily come back and play again as it is in my opinion one of the best I have played in UK.Reviewer Rating

Hidden gem
