Visitors and societies are welcome 7 days a week. Advance Green Fees can be booked on a Monday to Friday basis (£47.80 per month, renewable monthly) or Monday to Sunday (£65.90 per month, renewable monthly). Societies, group and individual bookings can be made from 7am - 7 days per week.

The club and Golfshake reviews need to tell you this is now a pay as you play course. There are no members and all visitors are welcome. The course is 18 holes and 6000 yards. You pay simply £10 at any time, weekday or weekends no booking is necessary. I never wait to get on. The course is in good condition, with greens tees and fairways maintained. Bunkers are in a poor state, but will get reworked. The course has a wide variation of par 3, 4 and 5's and is a slog to walk around with many hills in rolling Staffordshire countryside looking toward the river Trent valley. Simply terrific value for money with buggies only £10 too. Only 5 miles from Lichfield and 10 mins from A38. What are you waiting for.

Played several times since mid Summer 2014. An 18 hole 6000 yard course undergoing a transformation from a club to municipal pay as you go. Superb value at £10 per round. Add a buggy for just another £ tenner too. They have a driving range chipping area and putting green for practice and 18 holes of terrific variation. A real golf test for all playing levels with playing uphill, downhill, over water, dog legs, blind pins you name it this course has got it. To be frank this is local to me and a personal fave of mine. One of Staffordshires best kept golfing secrets which I want to see doing well hence I am sharing with you. Ground crews are working tirelessly to bring all areas up to very good standard. The bunkers are numerous and in need of TLC, however I believe many of them will be filled in and others restored. If bar and former clubhouse reopen this will place a cherry on what is a very nice cake indeed. At these prices a true golf testing course which means you can have your cake and eat it.

Very hilly course, buggy for £10 recommended unless you want to get fit as well. Challenging, good greens . Cheap as chips £10 a round great value for money

After being closed for a period the course needs to be brought back up to it's former conditions. The staff are working very hard to acheive just that.
The course still remains popular and I have no complaints regards the course myself nor have I heard any others complain either

Challenging course, as tough as any c'ships ive played & deffo need to hire a buggy but at a tenner to play & a tenner a buggy its a bargain. Folk are friendly & Julie who runs club house is top lady who does a mean bacon sanga should you feel peckish before or after front 9. Be warned, 18th hole is a round wrecker if you cant drive straight off the tee! Splosh! Only thing club lacks is a bar but they working on it from what i hear.

I play this course on a regular basis and I think it is a challenging course. It is quite hilly so it drains really well and the greens seem to be in use all year round. In my experience the back nine is much harder than the front nine with the drive at the 18th being very tricky is you are not a straight hitter.

The course is a 'pay & play' and as such appears to be quite popular.
Greens and fairways are reasonably well kept, but the tees could be improved. Bunkers are awful.
With a bit of effort this course could be restored to its' former glory.
