Greens excellent

Played the Kernow course, which is reasonably easy)as if any golf course is easy!)Try the Nicklaus course for a sterner test

great course and hotel and a good warmup for the tougher Nicklaus course. some lovely holes especially nice to birdie the risk / reward 10th hole driving over the lake. a lot shorter than the nicklaus but still a challenge

A true championship course - lots of hazzards and the rough is brutal. Every hole is different and a good drive often still leaves a long shot to a tight green.

A recently modified championship course. The layout is excellent with plenty of open fairways with a challenging par 3 across a lake. A little pricey per round but good value on a two for one option.
Always a pleasure to play at St Mellion

the change from the "old course" to the "kernow" has made little difference but has changed a few holes espeically the 2nd which is no longer a par 3. The Nickalus course is just awesum...every hold has its problems for any average golfer....just dont use that driver because you think it is a long way...play safe...always

Nice courses

Both courses are nice looking especially the nicklaus, the kernow is a testing course but playable with concentration the Nicklaus is beast of a course with no let up all the way round, but such a stunning looking course, if I had to be critical I would say the bunkers lets it down sand in some hardly any in others, I can not fault the resort overall great food friendly staff good facilities.
