Very hilly course, but in good conditions. The greens were slow because the grass slightly too long. Lovely views and a good place.

Quite a challenging course . Set in amongst the Peak District one or two quite steep climbs - particularly the first - certainly a test of heart and lungs !!
Some Derbyshire wonderful scenery and picturesque holes .
Club house and pro shop very welcoming.

Society day
Sickleholme hosted our society day on 17th June. The organisation and catering were first class. The hot weather made this hilly course a challenge for some of our members but the course was in great shape and the views of the peak district are second to none.Reviewer Rating

Beautiful course in the Peak District
A very well kept course with excellent greens full of undulations and little slopes to catch you out. Some superb views from the course will take your mind off the (occasional?) bad shots that you hit.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 94 Handicap: 27.9)

This is truly a hidden gem in the Peak District. A very hilly course as you would expect here so be ready for a walking work out!

Soft greens, good course
A warm day in October and plenty of rain. The greens were soft and gave very little bounce. Plenty of sand on themThis is a well kept course. Only white and red tees playing at the moment so an additional challenge!

Very quiet for a late Sunday morning in May. Saw 2 four balls ahead of us by someone and a couple of ladies pairs. That's was it. Heaven!
