Golf course review of Rowlands Castle Golf Club

RCGC is north of Portsmouth/Havant and just 5 minutes off J2 of the A3. I have played the course a number of times on Society days but this visit was to play in one of their Open Comps which always span 3 days in August. A traditional parkland course which is reasonably straightforward but played tough (for me) off the "tips". Everything was in "apple pie" order - first class organisation, spotters out on the course (a first for me) and very friendly staff/members. I paid £18 to enter (excellent value) and will be returning same time next year - highly recommended if you can make it as well.

Greens are excellent and fairways are tight but easy playing, the course is well worth the money and also take 2fore1 vouvhers all week, the only set back is the oap as the club is mainly over 60's they also dont book tee times its a turn up and play main sometimes expericence delays in tee times.

Played with a 2-4-1 voucher. Course in excellent condition given the harsh winter, if only my game had stood up to the winter. Too many fairways missed with errant shots. Greens in good condition, fats for this time of year.
