Bunkers were sandy like as if you are on a sand dune. Balls were plugged on the rise and would not roll down. Also direction to next tees were not very good.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 93 Handicap: 15.9)

Golf course condition is mediocre at best , the holotine holes are the size of £1 coin (we tried) the greens were covered in what seemed to be working sand !!!
Staff in clubhouse were miserable couldn't be botherd dealing with us don't think they were concerned if we were there or not !!! Asked for the football to be on TV and was told they couldn't find remote ?
There's so many nice golf courses around that I really wouldn't waste time playing this one , yes it could be a really nice course an yes the location is ideal to the city but it wasnt a very enjoyable experience on the 2 occasions we've played - we have vowed to never go back

Overpriced
Course wasn't value for money, midweek visitor green was ?35?30 for a buggy was a bit steep.
No discount for county card holders even though it's listed.
Course was uninspiring and dull.
All 6 golfers said they wouldn't rush back .
Course was in good condition but fairways where rock hard,
not much rain in the month of June,
nice greens ran true.

Nice track
Played for the first time - thought it was a decent course with some testing holes at the outset. Greens were in very good condition and whilst a few holes were very similar, there were some stand out holes particularly those with water hazards.Reviewer Rating

Bowring Park Golf Club Is On The Up.
Knowsley Council are investing in the golf course. There is a new carpark for starters and I'm sure that with things getting back to 'normal' there will be investment in the golf course itself. The golf course is in good condition and with a little TLC the greens can be made perfect, they are a bit patchy and slow at the moment. The bunkers too need a little work but overall for a municipal golf course it's in good condition.Reviewer Rating
