Second visit for me and my friend Martyn, and once again found the course in tip top condition and a friendly welcome from the lad in the bar and the members. The only negative was one (not all) group staff worker on a motorised cutter. He was up and down and all around us on the first hole, even when we were playing shots and after Martyn landed his second just short of the green from where it ran on, he drove over and told us to repair our pitch marks, despite us saying there were none. He was all around us again on hole 7, driving to within 2 yards of me whilst I was chipping onto the green then, worst of all, when we were playing the 16th he was up and down in front of us whilst we were playing and when I deliberately waited by my ball 200 yards from the green he parked his tractor 20 yards to my right with the engine running and proceeded to chat to a (presumably) fellow worker who had driven up in a buggy. In the end, after waiting in vain for them to drive off or at least stop chatting, I hit my ball (not well, unsurprisingly.) his behaviour didn't spoil a good day out, but he certainly didn't make a good impression.
