Greens need cutting and pitch marks need repairing.

Urban gem
Great little course hidden away in an industrial estate. Greens in great condition and fairways not bad for the time of year. Some holes have a real links feel. A lot of the holes are quite tight and require precision play, especially on the front 9. Longer hitters might want to leave their driver in the bag.(Round played: Nov 2017 - Score: 92 Handicap: 22.2)

Lee Valley
A nice enough public course in North London, in reasonable condition. Not that long but fairly narrow/tight so not easy. Some really simple basic improvements would help, for example number the tee boxes as navigating the course is not always obvious. No course map available online either, surely not too difficult to do.Reviewer Rating

The course is on a holiday park and the shop, facilities and green keepers are holiday park workers, not golf pros (or at least that is how it seems). The fairway are rough or rougher with horrendous rough or mini forests framing each hole. The hope that Summer may bring shorter grass is based more on the possibility of debilitating heat rather than a good mow. The greens are full of pot holes from previously un-repaired pitch marks, or just wear and tear, and there seems no effort to sort this out.
All this being said, I like playing there. It's only 4889 yards and the fairways and green are awful, but it is a challenge. There are 6 Par 3s and no Par 5s (if you play off the yellows) but you wouldn't come away from playing there thinking you had it easy.
PROS:
Challenging conditions
Challenging holes but not because of length
CONS:
Staff
Facilities (no club house)
Condition of the grass on the course

Firm ground, adds distance to drives. Greens in very good condition. Bunkers could do with some more sand.
