The course was quite as the weather outlook didnt look great, the course was in good condition considering the recent drought and was definately helped by the last two days rain. The course itself is quite open although scoring well is not easy especially a tough start on the back nine with three of the harder holes on 11-13. Very friendly guy in shop since the course became a pay and play.

Thought it was quite a tough course and if its your first time beware of lots of hidden bunkers and ponds/lakes. Cant understand why SSS is lower than the par as there are many hazards and its quite lengthy (on all recent reviews no one played to their handicap). Course would benefit from a map of the hole on each tee and maybe some kind of map on the score card. Greens were good and fairways like concrete. Worst bit about the course is the awful road in!

Pretty good course, condition has dropped slightly since it went pay and play but for £13 a round its as good as you can get.

£25 for a Saturday afternoon in summer, with decent greens that run true. Will be back. Front nine can feel a little the same for the first 4 or 5 holes but other than that decent.

Enjoyable course. Quite flat and so not too tiring. About the right challenge for mid-high handicappers. No formal clubhouse but pro shop has satisfactory refreshments etc.

i found the course to be nice and flat. fairways and tees are some of the best i have seen this year.
greens rolled very well, a bit fast for me but my playing partners loved them.
i was disipointed we could not play all 18 holes as the day light beat us. the 15 holes we did play made us want to go back thats for sure.

Weather was horrific so didnt help but would only play if we got a deal (Teetimes) £27.50 for a 4 ball.
We hadnt played the course before but there is no course layout on the score card and the tees have the hole numbers flat to the ground so you have to search each tee to ensure its the correct one. Club Shop was closed by 2.30pm so half way round was unable to stop to get a drink.

The weather had a lot to do with this and the mindset was quite negative once the sun come out it is actually a very ncie course and greens were in great condition

I played laleham 3 years ago and said I wouldnt rush back.
I was Invited to play this weekend and I can't say I was looking forward to it.
How wrong was I. The place has changed so much. Tees and fairways are in super condition.
and greens rolled very well. A few bunker changes from last time.
I liked the place and this time I can't wait to play it again.
Only down side is the driving range is a bit far away from the 1st tee.
Great course great value.

Having played some varying courses this week, I decided to trundle on down to Laleham Golf Club for a round. A pain to get to but that has its advantages in a more tranquil location within the M25. The PGA Pro gave me a walkthrough of the the course upon arrival and I was off. Having played it I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it; as I scored well nearly as much as I enjoyed playing Hillside near Southport. It was quiet, members were talkative and it had a nice feel about the place. The course is flat but wind can be a factor. Club choice seems to be more important and I found myself clubbing down because of the firm ground. Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers and greens are well maintained. The par 3's on the course are all brilliant and the rough is like sponge. At £25 it was a bargain and I believe after 1pm it is £15. No brainer. Get down to Laleham Golf Club, an absolute gem and should definitely be on the wishlist.

Lovely park land course. Very good condition. It was wet when I played but it stood up very well. Pro shop staff very friendly. Didn't use the clubhouse. £35 for a midweek round was a little steep.
