Best of welcome extended to everyone!

This course has significantly improved over the last six months and has plenty to offer golfers at all abilities. Don't be put off by the 9 holes, this club has proven to be one of the best small courses in South Wales. The club has had a successful teams over the years winning local league's demonstrating it's ability to produce good golfers. Great atmosphere in the 19th whereby the refreshments are first class!

The club has a fantastic display of golfing memrobilliae from Gary Player to the modern Welsh legends.

There are full incentives to becoming a member as you have the added incentive to pkay club competitions whereby you will be well looked after and welcomed into a group to play with.
Once a member you will have the privilege to play off the competition white tees whereby the course becomes longer and far more interesting.

Give it a try you will be pleasently suprised!

Lakeside has currently a real good offer on at £5 a round and the newly managed "Priorry Restraunt" at the venue is well priced for food and beer. The greens are currently immaculate and I have seen a huge improvement during this summer as money has been put back into keeping the course tip top. This is of course not up to your Pyle & kenfig standard of course. ts just a good beginers/intermediate course. The course is very welcoming. Cricism would be only that it needs better ndication of tee to green routes. If you need lessons I would highly recommend Matthew Wotton the professional there whos fees are very low at another club you could possibly add a tenner to the fees. Also Matthew will play a game with you as part of the lesson. Found a real problem with my swing that no professional had spotted since 1978 and it was almost glaring to see.
