What the club says: Kirkcaldy Golf Course is known locally as Balwearie and is set in 150 acres of a beautiful, rolling piece of Fife countryside. It was designed by the famous Tom Morris in 1904 and is a very attractive 18 Hole parkland course designed to challenge golfers of all standards. One of the many features is a traditional Scottish burn which meanders it’s way by five holes throughout the course.
To complement the golf, players can sample the wonderful clubhouse facility, which provides excellent food and beverage in a friendly environment.
Beautifully laid out, wonderfully maintained and really challlenging when wind is up

(Round played: May 2016 - Score: 91 Handicap: 16.5) Superb little golf course in Fife. After what is a daunting but not too difficult first the course opens up to provide all golfers with a good challenge. The seventeenth and final hole are exceptional, especially if can walk off with par or better. Good friendly professional and members (some of whom we met). A good challenge for golfers of all abilities which is well worth a visit if your in the area.
Course in very good condition will play there again
