Kirkcaldy Golf Club
Balwearie Rd, Kirkcaldy, Fife, KY2 5LT United Kingdom
Kirkcaldy Golf Course is known locally as Balwearie and is set in 150 acres of a beautiful, rolling piece of Fife countryside.
From start to finish this is a true test of golf. The 1st hole, with the drive across the burn is a challenge for any player, then it’s very own ‘Amen Corner‘ round the 6, 7, & 8th holes, where a good round can be made or lost, and finally, in the homeward straight, the par 5 17th gives that special thrill of ‘should I shouldn’t I?’ when contemplating carrying the burn in two from the top of the hill.
So give it a try, you won’t be disappointed with the condition of the course, which is widely known as one of the best manicured in Fife. It has much-deserved recognition as a course everyone should play whilst visiting “The Kingdom”.Book a Tee Time

A short course and in my view over priced, a bit stuffy without the prestige, left underwhelmed.

Not the longest course in the world, but what it lacks in length it more than covers in variety.
A course that is both hilly in parts, tree lined, in others, and always well kept.
Greens are truly in great condition.
Most deinately a course when you want to bring your course management "A" game.
Friendly and polite staff, and very good bar facilities.
Enjoyable round, and would revisit.

This is the first club I've been a member of having joined last year so maybe this review will be a bit rose tinted.
I think it's a cracking course, not overly long but every hole is interesting with a couple of score wreckers just before the turn and a fantastic will I won't I par 5 17th. The course is always in immaculate condition and the greens are lightning fast. The staff are all very welcoming as are all the members I've met.
If you're in the area give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
