Clubhouse is second to none and course layout is good but the condition of the fairways is horrific. Due to its location there like concrete and badly damaged in places, looks like from 100 yards in has never been watered. Greens are great and tough but as you cant possibly get your club under the ball you cant put any spin on it. Shame because could be very good

They shotgun started a competition while we were about to play the 16th and somehow managed to blame us for not being able to finish - It's a shame they have no idea about service because it's a really nice course and clubhouse

Not very exciting and apart from the 4th (600 yards) and the uphill par 4 18th (400+) not very difficult. Too many blind/semi blind shots especially on the front nine. Bunkers need more sand in them but the greens were nice and fast. Apart from the 2nd and 17th no water hazards.
Excellent pro shop; however the group playing in front of me twice forgot to put the flag back! For the £15 twilight rate, no real complaints as too value for money, but I could not recommend £30 per round as good value.

The KP Club is in a wonderful setting with some quite stunning views however we are here to review the course. Much work has been done to improve the course with drainage etc, however the focus is upon developing the corporate side of the business leaving a course which is below par, certainly not of championship quality as promoted. Mossy greens and uneven tees spoil what could be, subject to investment a fantastic course. Summary; Course layout very good, fairways well looked after, bunkers hard yet fair and well looked after, tees need work, greens need replacing to carry the true Championship label.
Worth a visit or a stay with beautifl accomodation on offer.

Greens changed from front 9 to back 9 for some reason,to the left of16th Hole is practice fairway and too close to the 16th,and the practice balls which were being hit at the time of my Game were white and not yellow/green so if you are on left finding your ball is impossible.!...stupid.Also when you are approaching the 18th Hole the flag is the wrong colour (hard to see against back drop of clubhouse.)suggest red or white flag.Other than that course OK.

Very good course, the first 4 holes will test your stamina! I would recommend to play this course on a dry day, I played in the rain, the day before it rained and it shows, couldn't get my short game going around the greens, I don't think they have drainage as some greens had standing water on, but overall a good course

Good course that I'm sure will improve with time and will be a really nice when the trees mature. Be aware the rough is very punishing!
Unfortunately, having booked through "teeofftimes" we were unaware that it was green maintenance week. Had we known, then we wouldn't have gone. Sadly, the scarifying of the greens tarnished an otherwise good day for us as it made putting a bit of a lottery. No fault of the golf club, it has to be done, just unfortunate for us.

Venue continues to develop well. a couple of greens need a bit more work after the winter weather, but great experience all round with plenty of space and some interestingly shaped holes.

Pros -Quite a challenging course and great to play. With a reasonable price tag played at the right times.
Cons - Greens could do with a bit more T.L.C. and Pro Shop could be a bit more welcoming.

Clubhouse and service was excellent. Course had good views and set in lovely rural surrounding. However greens were fluffy and unreceptive and course was quite un-inspiring. The rough was ridiculously long for an average player like myself I deposited many balls in there never to retrieve them.
