What the club says: Established in October 1997, designed by golf architect Howard Swan, the course is 6,000 yards (par 70) and caters for beginners, whilst providing a challenge for the more experienced golfer.
Facilities: 18 hole 'Pay and Play' course, 22 bay floodlit driving range, Golf shop, Golf lessons, Golf club offering competitions and handicaps, 19th Hole Bar also offering snacks and meals, Marquee available for celebrations, meetings and conferences, Golf societies and golf days, Club hire and trolley/buggy hire.

Since ladt payed a couple of yers ago course much better. Rough areas cut back and greens a lot smoother. Bunkers still need sorting. Course swapped around and si adjusted making it slightly more difficult.

Course is improving with a recently appointed golf manager. Challenging as there is rough, there are hills and there are some blind fairways. But isn't that what golf is about. Greens are big and quite fast. Many very interesting holes. First timers might find the course guide useful. Clubhouse very friendly and excellent value. Pro staff first class and lessons available for all levels. Shop limited but council run so prices are good. Tip alongside the 12th can be smelly but due to close 2012 and be capped 2013 according to the tip operator.

qute a new course and council owned so the dress code isn't to strict and anyone can play, not a real difficult course but there are some good holes to test your shots, in bad weather the Telford nine holds lots of water in places and the Wrekin nine runs paralel with the waste tip so can get quite wiffy at times but they seem to be running it down so hopefully it wont be much of a problem much longer, worth a knock.

greens full of pitch marks, not much sand in bunkers, (some had none in them ) the rough is very rough , will not play there again , golfers taking to long looking for golf balls in the jungle ( rough) either side of fairways so making play very slow
