I live near Hersham and have played this course a number of times.
Condition of courses varies on the season so I won't talk about that.
The course is short, 4 of the par 4s can be driven if you have a big drive
The 7th, 11th, 15th, 16th (and you would only be a short wedge away on the 14th).
The back 9 is incredibly open, so if you are looking for a challenge I wouldn't recommend Hersham.
Because it isn't the most challenging of courses, it can be a little boring at times.
In it's favour; it is next to the station so if you don't drive this course is perfect.
It is very good value for courses in Surrey.
The greens are often in very good condition.
It is not snobby, the members are really nice and the people who work for the club are accommodating.
