Superb Course

Harewood downs is currently in fantastic condition,
tee boxes are some of the best around,
fairways are in really good condition,
greens were running very true and reasonably quick.

Staff and clubhouse were excellent.

very pretty course

Very pretty challenging golf course.
Greens were very quick and true.
My playing collegues found the bunkers a real challenge too get out of.
Pace of play was very good.
Staff were excellent.

Hidden Gem

Beautiful golf course in the Chilterns.

Great layout and very testing at times.

Amazing greens and bunkers.
Faiways have all been worked on so will improve given time.

Really nice service in the clubhouse and great food.

Team activity

Second round on the course so not too bad. Greens very fast, but the ladies section is very hospitable and welcoming. The course is by no means easy, lots of slopes, but it is nice to have a course that is challenging.

Pretty course

Harewood Downs is a fantastic course to play.
It is a very pretty course with every hole interesting.
Greens and tees were superb as was the general design of the course

Great Course

Lovely course, not easy at all, quite hilly, some blind holes but great views. Tricky greens, just wish I had played better. Look forward to returning

Friendly and fast ...

Visited the course again and discovered some very friendly members who invited me to join their 2 ball as a 4
A course you have to think about but equally forgiving for us high handicap players.
Greens in great condition despite a long spell of bad weather and FAST ...
Loved every minute on the course and on the 19th

It'll be won or lost on the greens!

A beautifully presented course, offering a good challenge for even the stronger golfers amongst us! It was a very windy day and the wind certainly played its part, but the course will be won or lost on the fantastic and fantastically fast greens! Putt well and you'll net a good score, but anything long or short will leave a challenging second putt!

A challenging golf course set in the heart of the rolling hills of the Chilterns. The course makes great use of the topography with some stunning views which change dramatically with the seasons. The USGA spec greens have improved tremendously over the past 5 years, and are recognised as being amongst the best in the county. The course drains well, has superb fairways and is playable all year round, when many of the other local courses have to close when the weather gets wet. This coupled with a friendly membership and very good bar and catering offerings, make this a course well worth a visit.
