A private members club, a little gem set amidst the beautiful Habberley Valley, Kidderminster, Worcestershire measuring 5401 yards with a par of 69 it represents a good test for the best of golfers.
Having opened in 1924, the course occupies some 47 acres of unspoilt parkland based on a sandstone outcrop which provides us with lovely fairways and superb greens.

Price Guide: ££Visitors: Thursday is Ladies Day and they have priority on the course. The First Tee is reserved for members on the following days:- * Saturday Morning :- 7-45 a.m. to 8-45 a.m. 9-45 a.m. to 10-45 a.m. * Saturday Afternoon :- 12-30 p.m. to 1-30 p.m. 2-30 p.m. to 3-30 p.m. * Sunday Morning :- 7-45 a.m. to 8-45 a.m. 9-45 a.m. to 11-00 a.m. * Sunday Afternoon :- 12-30 p.m. to 1-30 p.m. 2-30 p.m. to 3-30 p.m. Senior members are normally on the course on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.

Hilly! Very very hilly!.
But a lovely 9 hole course which was well kept when we visited - good greens and a real test for this high handicapper.

This is a gem of a course hidden from prying eyes so I shouldn't really write this review!! I played it on a Monday morning at 9am and had the course virtually to myself.
It may only be a "nine hole course" but is a true test of any golfer whatever handicap they have... Add to this that the members (of which I am now) are without doubt the friendliest people anyone could ever wish to meet! The bar is incredibly reasonable and the food is incredibly good (and also VERY reasonable) although the bar opening times are limited because the club is not used as it deserves to be.. My advice?? Try the course... sample the bar (old fashioned opening hours) and enjoy the best quality normal food that you could ever imagine..
