What the club says: Fingle Glen now offers a 5600 yard course with a par of 69 for men and 71 for ladies. The course offers a good test of golf for players of all standards. Along with some shorter par 4's that offer birdie opportubities there are some very challenging par 3's & 4's that are a test to make par for any player. The par 5's, one on each nine, give balance to the course.

Good course. The back 9 was significantly more challenging, although weather played a part too.

Played the course today was in great condition greens were amazing and lots of work going on at present but found it a very testing course which needs a lot of thought and plotting your way around not just blasting a driver. The only thing I did find were not many signs from the green to the next tee but soon worked it out.

Don't play this course

Fingle Glen is the worst maintained course my wife and I have ever played on. The greens are in a terrible condition. They had been hollow tined recently but that wasn't the problem. They are diseased which has left bare patches. The bunkers have not been maintained. The sand is compacted. The fairways were covered in clumps of wet mown grass. The layout of the course is very odd and lacking in signage. The buggy we hired had not been cleaned since the previous players.

Never played here before but knocked it round latish afternoon on a Saturday. Short course but played in high winds which made it plenty tricky enough. Had far more variety and changes of elevation that I was expecting and it's an interesting track. Greens were decent whilst not being that receptive. Pace of play was unfortunately painful on the day I played as think I was behind a smallish society/group who weren't the quickest, but that's luck of the draw. Nice welcome in the hotel/pro shop and also got a good deal paying only £15 to go round which was a pleasant surprise.

After all the wet winter the course is now starting to return to the good condition. Green keepers have done a good job

Devon as you?d expect.

Our society had a three day event here this weekend. The course is very hilly as you?d expect in Devon. There are buggies available though for those that want them. The greens and fairways need to be in better shape but is was explained after the recent rains and flooding the ground staff are working on it. A little difficult to follow the course, next tee not well signed. The accommodation was superb! We had Chalets with hot tubs. The food and service from the staff was beyond reproach and very friendly.
