Great Condition

considering the recent weather the course was in great shape, very challenging at times but forgiving in others, the greens were very well kept and the setting is devine

Effingham Redesign

Played Effingham after all the bunkers have now been redesigned......... just wow! What an incredible difference. Stunning classic golfing layout thats in touch with modern times. Oh and the views of London arn't bad either. ????

Nice track

The weather has been awful up to the day but the course was in incredible condition. Really good club house and a thoroughly enjoyable day

Great Course, very well kept, greens very tricky and hard to read and manage throughout the round

Disappointing

I was expecting a lot from effingham and had been meaning to play it for a while. Pretty much every hole had GUR which was disappointing for the price of the green fee. Fairways weren’t in great nick but it has rained for 2 weeks. Tough to get a smile from any of the staff. Lukewarm is the best word I can think of to describe the experience. Won’t go back. Not in the same class as burhill for example

Disappointing for the expensive green fee

Played at Effingham last week

Disappointed with the lack of welcome in the Pro Shop and didn’t think the October course conditions went close to justifying the green fee . Too Many bunkers and areas close to them on the back 9 were GUR and the greens were slower than many other courses we have played this month.

Not impressed for the green fee. Better value available elsewhere.

Fantastic course in great condition. Plenty to test good handicappers with plenty of bunkers and difficult lies.

Stunning

Great course, with spectacular views across London. Greens are so quick at the burrows are not seen, there's where the shots will go..Enjoy.

The course was in good condition for the time of the year the greens was very slow but that was understandable for the time of year.
