What the club says: Founded in 1903, the Club, sited in Suffolk, is just to the south of the River Waveney, which forms the natural boundary between the Counties of Suffolk & Norfolk. This has ensured that ever since its formation, the Club has looked to Suffolk for its competition rather than Norfolk, the county in which the town stands.

Cracking course with plenty of testing holes. The green keepers do a great job and the course is always in very good condition.
My only negative is that there seems to be a lot of elderly golfers playing here and it can sometimes take a while to play 18 holes.

This may appear at first glance quite open course. However, you will be punished if you miss fairways. The course offers some testing holes and some great feature holes. Hats off to the green keepers as the greens are superb.

Played this one evening on their summer twilight deal (£17.50 for 18 holes). What a truly pleasant evening. The course was lush and green, giving more than a few challenges with the numerous craters, doglegs and well protected greens. The greens had just been dressed, but this did not detract from the game. Nice facilities, friendly atmosphere and a lovely course. Great value.
