What the club says: The course is a newly laid out nine hole nine tee setup. There are some challenging risk and reward holes, especially the seventh and the ninth. The seventh is a straight par 4 crossed by the Scallastle River so an over ambitious drive is likely to end up wet. Discretion is definitely advised. The ninth is a par 4 crossed by the same river which will collect any unwary tee shots.

Accuracy off the tee is rewarded, especially if the wind is blowing, so it is advisable to carry extra balls. The rough can be penal and, at times, nesting terns can make navigating the second fairway exhilarating! However, the course is one of the most scenic you are ever likely to play and with the sun on your back there are not many better places to be.

We have played this course many times and always enjoy it, despite rain often rolling down from the hills and actually losing balls which disappeared from view in the boggy peat in the middle of the fairway! The course demands some tough decisions, many holes play longer than they look (7th and 9th), but the views are spectacular. We once observed a school of pilot whales (we counted 18) moving up the Sound of Mull. One drawback: we have often found the clubhouse, which has a combination lock, to be locked, rendering the toilets inaccessible. Please honour the honesty box and pay the greenfee, as the members and committee do most of the maintenance work on a voluntary basis and without the income, the course might not survive, which would be a real loss for islanders and visitors alike.

Very testing course with sea on one side and gorse on the other in places but nevertheless an excellent course with fantastic views down the sound of Mull.

Basic Course on the Coast of Mull.

Very Wet with some interesting holes (Miss and you could be in the sea looking for your ball)

It's a small course played over 9 holes but with different tees for the 2nd 9.

Payment is made via an Honesty system as their is nothing around other than a small clubhouse.

Great Little Course, with some interesting hazards!!!

Ground gets very boggy in the wet and you could loose balls easily.

Coastal Course with a Clubhouse (No Facilities), Payment is via Honestly Box at the Clubhouse Entrance.

Very Nice Little Course.

Watch for the Wildlife as they do like your Ball and leave plenty of droppings for the ball to settle in!!!

Can be very wet as most of the course is Peat Ground along the coast line.
