This is a lovely course, always busy so be prepared as pace of play is sometimes slow.
This is a year round course and you can book a buggy throughout winter as the drainage is excellent.

Nice course, only drawbacks were condition of tee boxes and pace of play. Other than that a course I would play again

Excellent welcome in the pro shop and club house complemented with great food.we played in late March and everywhere was bone dry fairways tees and greens were ok for the time of year and we will definitely be visiting again.and good luck to the new management team.Reviewer Rating

College Pines is set in a beautiful location. It is playable all year round. Everyone is friendly. I have been made so welcome by all the ladies.It has new owners from 1st March 2023 and they have made significant improvements to the course. The bunkers are so manicured .For the time of year the fairways are great. The tees and greens are good .The bar does lovely food and has a good choice of beers.

Great course
College Pines is a wonderful course for societies. Never closes for bad weather, a good price, fantastic food and always a warm welcome. The course is always in good condition, even in the winter months.New owners too, who seem intent on carry on those traditions.

Best ?28 Winter Course Bar None!
College Pines is THE best ?28 winter course bar none and that is coming from someone who has played 180+ courses in the UK. Yes, its not my favourite layout, yes I don't always play well there but it has NEVER let us down on the weather front. Monsoon rain, snow, icy conditions never a problem you will always have a game on at College Pines. The staff are talkative and lovely, the practice facilities are fine, the food is great and the course challenges everyone whether low or high handicappers. This time the greens were a bit too fluffy which meant the ball did not roll true, but we will take that here as it gives back in other ways. You are not going to come here and say its the best course I have played in my life, but what will happen here is that the course will be open on full greens and tees when the weather is or has been terrible. Book here to guarantee your round will be on when other courses have been shut for days.Reviewer Rating
