Cheadle Golf Club
Cheadle Golf Club was established in 1885 and is the second oldest golf club in Cheshire (the oldest is Royal Liverpool at Hoylake).
It is well known as a very friendly club where new members and visitors are made welcome.
Cheadle is a challenging nine hole golf course that is suitable for all categories of golfers.
The clubhouse has a bar, lounge and snooker room. A wide range of social activities take place including socials, dinners, whist drives, and snooker competitions. Details of social events are posted on the notice board in the stud bar. Meals and bar snacks are available in the clubhouse.
The Club Professional is Anthony Millar, who is a fully qualified PGA Professional and a regular tournament competitor in the Northern Region. Anthony competed in The Open Championship at Troon in 2004. Lessons are provided for beginners and all level of golfer.
An excellent range of golf equipment and clothing is available in the shop.
Members can sign in guests to use clubhouse facilities, attend social events, or to play golf at reduced green fees.
An extensive programme of golf competitions take place every year. Examples are:
Men - Competition every Saturday.
Ladies - Competition every Tuesday.
Seniors section (members aged 55 or over) - Competitions on most Wednesdays
Juniors - Competitions on certain Sundays, mostly in the summer months.
Mixed - Competitions on certain Sundays, mostly in the summer months.Contact Information

The course at Cheadle is a testing loop of nine holes with a variety of par 3s and 4s, from the short 97 yard, bunker guarded 5th hole, to the long, testing and tight 8th.
You will always find the greens here at Cheadle a delight to play on, and recent drainage works means they will be playable for most of the year.
