What the club says: The 18 hole Main Course with a par of 73 and measuring 6685 yards. As well as the 18 hole golf course, there's an interesting 18 hole par three course which demands the use of a range of clubs. The golf course is configured as two loops of nine holes eminating from the clubhouse and is inviting with views from the first tee over much of the opening nine holes which is set on undulating land.

Very good course for beginners and advanced golfers.
Challenging holes, fairways & greens in good condition plenty of work been carried out to improve the course in last 3 years since I became a member.
Would highly recommend having a round here you'll enjoy it.

First time playing in reasonable conditions. I am biased because I do enjoy this course. Interesting holes.
Front 9 nice warm up for what I feel is the more difficult back 9. Staff always friendly both greens staff and pro's. I stay in caravans locally and on coast and the course is easily accessible.

Got a twilight tee for £15 as a solo. Pace was fine and everyone was chatty and let people play through. For £15 round here it is by far the best course I’ve played for the money, and the 19th is lovely too!

Challenging course, gorse front nine made accuracy essential. Opened up back nine but holes longer.

Main course

Been playing this course the past 10 years but haven’t been in the past 2 years until recently , and to say I was shocked and upset was an understatement ,
Firstly I understand we are currently in a drought but honestly it looks like the green keepers have packed there bags and left months ago !!
Greens are shocking
Tee boxes are like dust /sand
Fairways are Full of rabbit holes
Bunkers are either filled in or ground under repair as no one can be added to maintain them ,
Walk ways are untouched for months /years
Such a shame as it’s a cracking course with some testing holes but the current condition it just looks like there hasn’t been anyone there for the past year ! Like I said I understand the drought so dry fairways I get it but honestly sort it out Caldecott or just shut the doors !! !! !!

Nice Venue

Thoroughly enjoyed playing here. The course has a lovely picturesque layout helped by the glorious weather on the day we played. The greens certainly need work and this might more of a gripe to some players. The clubhouse is imposing and the food was excellent.

Temporary green due to salt ingress into the water course. Fairways & general pathways need a lot of attention, rabbit holes prevalent on a number. Club shop is ok but only practice net (2 bays) for practice, driving range long gone. Shame as it has great potential & course is a challenge.

Basic

A lot of work needs to be done to get this course in a good state. Greens not bad but some fairways have so many animal holes in them you could twist your ankle!
