Bryn Meadows Golf ClubThis picturesque parkland course was establish in 1973 and offers a markedly new challenge from every tee with no two holes the same. It encapsulates the surrounding landscape beautifully to create an undulating and testing round of golf. Mature trees line the fairways making accuracy, rather than distance, essential. Golfers will be rewarded for using good course management and taking risks at the right time. The signature holes are the par 3 4th, a 213 yard carry over water will test even the lowest handicappers, and the par 5, 561 yard 11th, unreachable in two, with your third shot over water with OOB tight on the right! 18 holes. Par 72. 6156 yards. Parkland.

Location



Location: From Junction 28 M4 * Follow the signs for Brynmawr from Junction 28 M4 for approx. 10 miles to Newbridge. * Follow the A472 from Newbridge sign-posted Ystrad Mynach. * Bryn Meadows is one mile before Ystrad Mynach, off the Crown Roundabout signposted 'Golf Course'.

enjoyable course, lots of slope away greens which didnt help that it was minus 8 degrees and the balls just went where they wanted too. however the fairways and greens were highly maintaine and for 15.00 a round in winter, it was still worth the money.
i will play again when warmer
the clubhouse was immaculate and host friendly

Played at discounted rate. Value for money. Greens were good, course was in relatively good condition. Tees could be a bit scruffy but overall pleased.

Golf course review of Bryn Meadows Golf Club

A very tough course with narrow fairways and many trees. I'm a high handicapper and this is a course that requires a high degree of accuracy. Not one for my inconsistent faded tee shots!! Greens are aslo very fast and undulating. This course gives you very little! A good measure of exactly how good you are. Back to the driving range for me!!
