At 6374 yards consistent long hitting is by no means important at Broke Hill as the design of the holes has fully brought into play the 90 or so hazards strategically placed for maximum visual and golfing impact. The course offers a rewarding and challenging game to players with low and high handicaps. Five holes have water hazards, the most significant being the 18th where a lake has to be carried to get onto the green.

Only played this course once, but we had a good September day. Some of the par 4's seemed a little short from the yellow tees, but the greens were quick and slopey so that increased the challenge. Some of the drives will be easier to judge the second time around. We played during a promotional week, so cost was only £18 - not sure I'd want to pay £30+ to play there, but a pleasant enough course.

A popular Crown Golf club with a big membership, particulary the Ladies section. Can be breezy at times. The areas around the holes will challenge your short game as few greens are flat.

We played this course during their open week and therefore only had to pay £15 in green fees. Although this was an enjoyable round, I would be loathed to part with more than £25 to be honest.
Tough landing areas on most of the greens meant that accuracy needed to be at a premium here. Would certainly like to give this another go at some point.

Course in very good condition - particularly greens and bunkers. Friendly staff, nice clubhouse, well-stocked pro shop and excellent practice facilities. Well worth a visit if nearby.
